Oracle Projects Applications Health Check at the University of Manchester

Requirement

Carry out an extended health check of the Oracle Project Suite of Applications used by the University with documented recommendations and suggestions to increase the efficiency and use related to possible configuration and process improvements.

Solution

The UoM engaged Prōject to perform an extended health check of the Oracle Projects Suite of Applications. Prōject was to review the existing configuration and assess any improvements and/or enhancements that could be made to the applications using standard functionality including:

• An increased awareness of the current configuration
• An assessment and recommendation of underutilised functionality
• An awareness of best practice use of functionality
• Realisation of all business benefits expected from the implementation
• Areas of identification to realise the full use/efficiency from the applications
• Alignment of business process and requirements to configuration use
