Public Sector Defence Organisation – Earned Value Reporting

Requirement

As one of the UK’s largest procurement teams, managing thousands of procurement projects within its portfolio, the client needed transparency and clarity around the value for money delivery of its projects. Earned Value provided a mechanism for monitoring status of each project within the portfolio.

The solution designed by the team saw the planned and actuals both for time and cost coming from the Schedule, while the base project information came from the cost tool (Unifier).

Solution

This was then collated in the Primavera Analytics data warehouse with minor changes and transformation, and some custom schemas were built to accommodate unique needs.
